Cariboo Cares Community Foundation is a registered charity providing healthcare and education grants to individuals and project grants to groups and associations. Grant recipients are expected to be residents of the Cariboo Region.
The Cariboo Cares Community Foundation offers grants in three specific areas:
Healthcare Grants: These grants are designed for individuals who have insufficient financial means and/or inadequate insurance coverage to pay for needed services involving medical, paramedical, dental, and vision needs.
Educational Grants: These grants are designed to financially assist in pursuing post-secondary education through scholarships and/or bursaries to students whose financial resources are limited and/or who have demonstrated excellence in academics, the arts, or community involvement.
Community Project Grants: These grants are designed for initiatives that provide broad community benefits.
Please note that applicants are not required to be registered charities or registered societies.
Interested and potential applicants are encouraged to email Cariboo Cares Community Foundation with an outline of their needs. Applications may be submitted at any time during a calendar year, and there is no predetermined minimum or maximum amount that can be awarded. Awards are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Cariboo Cares Community Foundation is a fully registered charity with the Canada Revenue Agency, and donations are always appreciated and welcomed.
Tax receipts are issued for eligible donations made by cash, cheque, email, and credit card:
